For example, I use e621 for porn, by my knowledge this website doesn’t have inplanted maleware or viruses (most porn sites do). But, I also use the tagging and pool construction as intellectual entertainment. It’s torturously fun at times to try and organize a set of unorganized posts into a pool that have some correlation. Like construction of a timeline in a porn comic.

Almost exclusively for porn, but I think there are some decent smart people on here I could maybe reach out to and strike up conversation with fairly easily. Honestly this site isn't as cringe as one would expect for a furry porn site...imo old deviant art was worse.

Initially I started because I wanted to share artworks of my favourite artists that were not posted here yet.
Eventually, it turned into a hobby to promote specific artists that I find to have unique art styles and amazing artworks, prioritising quality (image res, tagging, permissions, etc.) over quantity.

And also probably to make use of the best tagging system ever I can find in any of the furry art sites I visit to date.

It has a better searching system than any other furry site (or like, any other site in general), so even if I find an artist I like, I tend to search their art here. Also general browsing.

I search porn and non-porn. Including cute stuff, memes, good art.

Often even searching porn isn't sexual in nature, I just like browsing art, and I spend a large amount of time doing that.

Sometimes it's fun analyzing a picture and what it does well or poorly, or something like that.

I also find art for other people sometimes.

Hourly dopamine dose.

Honestly, barring the actual content on here, I stick around so much because this site has the best tagging / search function I've ever seen. It has its problems, sure, but at least I can find things I'm looking for here, unlike the chaos that is sites like FA. Wish more art sites in general had a system like this site's, regardless of whatever the other sites' focus (or lack of) is.

I use it to find and see well-tagged posts of anthropomorphic art. Pornography isn't a big priority for me and can even turn me off.

First I started to use e621 because it didn't require making an account to look at porn. The tagging and search systems are great, I like how you can upvote posts without favouriting them, and the comment sections are often hilarious. Even now that I have an FA account I mostly use it just for the watch artist function and browse art (both porn and non-porn) here.

I also add tags if I see a picture with very few. It is nice mental exercise to take a good picture with 10 tags, figure out every possible tag that could apply and then add all of them until there are 100. Also actually writing as few of them as possible and letting implications do most of the job.

Basically, following the rules and being an approachable and level-headed individual while doing digital drawing that may or may not become a source of income for me.

I started for all the purns at first, with no account and just watching. After a while, I wanted to favorite a lot of things so I decided to make an account with a somehow meme nickname, so none of my friends, who are VERY anti-furry (they know am a furry but they "tolerate me" somehow), would know that I am in this site. That was for a while.

Only one or two months ago, I lost in a 3D character contest, it wasn't a big surprise really, but it kept me thinking. After +5 years of learning how to 3D model characters and stuff plus graduating as a 3D artist, it got me thinking "maybe I am just not good at this". Ah, I also forgot to mention that I haven't been able to find a job as a 3D artist for 5 months now. So I'm taking a rest from the 3D modeling for a while, I know I probably should be training and getting better and whatever, but I'm just not feeling the same passion as before.

Only like a couple of weeks, I decided to finally use my digital tablet to draw something completely. I always thought that I suck at drawing, even if my father keeps telling me the opposite so I never took the motivation to actually draw something. Then I was like "you know what? let's draw some purn, maybe people would like it more than my 3D models. Hell, maybe I could find a job or something..." so I started with my first drawing and got really motivated, it reminded me when I started 3D modeling for the first time. When I finished the drawing, I wanted to publish it somewhere, so I took this account forgotten by god and made it a "serious" account to publish things from my new hobby. Now I visit this page more often, not for the faps, but just to see how my weird art is doing, funny thing is, is doing way better than my 3D models. And also to see if I fit in a community, with everything is going on I barely even know who I am anymore or what am I doing with my life.

Use the favorites as an online archive of sorts. I mean I have close to 3TB of saved images/flashes/WEBM on a standard HDD, but having some of it backed up in a pseudo cloud system calms me.

I use the site the same way but man it's really biting me in the ass. Would be great it weren't for things getting bawwwwleeted all the time. Not that I disagree with the site for respecting artist's wishes and stuff but yeah, it's inconvenient.

I use it as an easier way to find new artist's to follow. Because no other website around has as good of a search and blacklisting system as this one.

I used it for an outlet to look at art, and quality art at that. I've made some friends here and it's an very, very positive and uplifting community as well. I love it here and I will stay here until the site dissipates, which I know won't happen any time soon :3

Everyday porn use (I don't consider myself a "Furry" per se) since this site has the best tagging/sorting system of any porn website I know of (Anthro or not). Other sites have such messy UIs and bloated designs to the point where I decided to spend 95% of my Adult Entertainment hours here instead.

To look at art, since it's search is worth a damn. Anyone who has been a furry for any length of time stopped thinking porn was something special for when you are feeling yourself. It's just art to look at at this point lol. Which is why I always laugh when people are such horndogs in comments. I think, "what are you? New to this?" :P

Browsing art, great place to search for posts when I need to look for references when I draw, and just general socializing.

I first used this site back in, like, 2013 to sort out my sexuality - but I'm still confused.

i am also very shy and introverted, so it's rare of me to reply to posts here. i'd say qhat i've contributed to the site comment-wise is less than half of what i've wanted to say.

Site used to be a good archive but stuff gets deleted/neglected (auto-deleted)/nuked so often here now it's largely failed that task and it's art retention has become as finicky as FA, there are much better (lower traffic) sites to use for the actual preservation of furry art.

It all began with just finding e621 as a consistently well-maintained and well-made fur smut archive, and I just kinda love the vibe. Only started actually using this for more than just a cheeky NUT a few days back, but it's always a fun ride! Been dipping my toes back into the fur pool recently, and it's nice to see it hasn't gone anywhere, it's just grown!

But secondarily, I like to find new artists with e6 as well as weird art that'll make my friends yell at me. I love tormenting them. lol
I also like to upload my own art because people here seem to like it, of course, but that's not much of a priority especially because most of it can't be uploaded due to character creator permissions.

I use it for many reasons, porn, obviously, but I also have amassed a large collection of artists that I regularly visit and look at new stuff for just to pass the time.

To search and upload porn, the latter is especially fun thanks to the awesome tagging system
