i use the theme pony, because purple is my favorite color,
and for Embellishments i use hexagon, to match with the hexagons in the background.

Bloodlust + Spring.
All the other themes are too bright. Pony and Hexagon are mostly fine, but Serpent and Hotdog are either a joke, or intended for masochists.
And the Spring embellishment just looks nice. I like the little fox in the bottom right corner.

Hexagon + Eternal Winter. Hexagon provides a nice dim background without being a dull gray. Eternal Winter then offers some subtle embellishments that don't draw focus much while still giving a little stylistic flair to the top and bottom of pages (and I like snow/winter).

I always use the default theme because I surf this site on Incognito Mode, so if I changed the theme it would just revert back to the default theme anyway

i bet the serpent theme was made to make e621 looks like Rule34

TIL there are themes. Never bothered to look at the bottom of the page.

In any case, I am using Bloodlust+Space, closest thing to dark mode.

I was using Bloodlust...but for some reason it isn't really distinct in highlighting selections when I go to the post page and click on the pre-arranged tags (like "Solo", "Duo", "group")...they just turn from a slight grey to a slightly lighter grey. So I wind up not knowing if I clicked one already or not...lol

I use an e621 theme I made myself that's visually simple and mostly grey so it works for both day and night. How it looks: https://i.imgur.com/43qriYv.png

Ah, that brings back memories.
All I need now is to throttle my connection to 50kbit/s, for the authentic dial-up experience.

Bloodlust+Hex, for some reason my brain keeps misremembering it as having more red than it does, though. Wish it still changed more than just the text on the home screen.

"Hexagon + Hexagon" , "Bloodlust + Stars" , "Pony + Spring" --- I use different ones depending on what I will do.

I have been using Hexagon + Hexagon for a long time; haven't bothered to change it until now because I was lazy and got used to the blue theme.

Just used Bloodlust + Space now.

Hotdog + Space

Hexagon + Spring

Serpent theme is a bit too nauseating to look at because I'm a night owl and favor darker themes.

I do think I'll use Hexagon + Hexagon for now.

Everytime I use incognito mode, the theme resets.

Somehow, when i close my browser, the theme goes back to normal and then i forget it. Right now it just bugged me it wasnt the same. How do i change it back?

Are you using incognito mode?
