So just wondering what would happen if my Post count goes negative because artists I like start requesting their art not be re-posted here? I would have thought takedown request deletions would not count against your total, but apparently they do? Also odd that unapproved for 30 days counts against you. I can understand getting it counted against you for an inferior version, posting irrelevant works, or things that are DNP. I am fine now with my post count, but just a bit concerned I may log in and be unable to post for this reason.

If your upload limit goes into the negatives due to takedowns, you can ask a staff member to fix it for you.
After all, it's not really your fault, although asking the artist for permission before starting to upload their work helps prevent that kind of thing.

Which is odd that it counts against you though right? I mean...it wasn't bad art, it wasn't DNP, it wasn't irrelevant...it was just ignored long enough to be deleted. /shrug/

As he said, it's not that no one saw it, it's that no one wanted to approve it. It means it was too close to being irrelevant to the site or of too little quality that none of the moderators felt it was worth approving, but they also didn't want to be the one to delete it. The number of times a post goes unapproved for 30 days without someone seeing it is very minimal, but if you think it happened to something you uploaded, you can send a DM to NotMeNotYou (the head admin) to take a look.

Yeah you need a deletion ratio of 40% your active post count, so it's probably not a good idea to exclusively upload a small number of artists, but I don't see it being a problem for most uploaders.

Well a kindly mod has adjusted it. I was really only posting as a what if. I mean it would only take 2 or 3 artists I like and re-post here to ask for takedowns to put me around that low point. I was not complaining, just wondering. I accept what ever judgement is in the best interest of board as far as unapproved posts being auto-deleted. I personally just found it unusual, but I am sure there are times content just doesn't get approved for a host of reasons.
