Most of what you shouln't post is on the avoid_posting wiki page, maybe you should ask the guy who flagged them or the admin why it was deleted.

See the avoid posting list for the guidelines.
Humans are not furry, and are therefore irrelevant to site. Pics of Equestria Girls are sometimes accepted, but it depends on the admin.

This is correct, however we have recently updated our policy to no longer allow any future humanized MLP. To help be more consistent.

I still remember that one time I tried flagging a picture of Juzure Nonon (a human solo) from Kill la Kill and got a Neutral record for it and the picture got to stay, but a pokemon picture I posted with Ash, Serena, Latias, and Bayleef got deleted for the same reason. But what can ya do. :/

Once an image gets approved, it stays, regardless of whether it's relevant. The only exceptions are if the artist wants it down (which automatically includes DNP or paysite material), a better version is uploaded, the file is broken, or it includes real-life pornography.

Not really. Sometimes admins delete not furry posts long time after they were approved by other admins. Still, flagging is supposed to help find admins things they might have missed (like DNP or reposts) not to question their judgment about quality/relevancy of pics.
Though I'm curious about post #544800. It has bayleef, dragon, and latias tags. Was once approved by NMNY and was deleted by... NMNY for being irrelevant. I wonder what it was.

That is true

It was focused on Ash and the other girl. The only part of bayleef and latias you see is the back of their heads at the bottom corner of the post
