Topic: Wisdom sharing

Wisdom that you gain may not be useful to you or incredibly useful, but it hasn't gotten it's full use if it isn't shared amongst others. Why not share some wisdom you know, any amount~

If i could give my teenage self a word of advise it would be this:

Just because you play 'truth and dare' that doesn't mean you have to be honest.

Don't sleep on a roof no matter how flat it is, unless it has guard rails. The ground is hard and broken ribs hurt.

I hope the question wasn't about wolfcocks...

"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted,
to a profoundly sick society."

~Jiddu Krishnamurti, as claimed by Kurt Vonegut, so who knows where the quote actually originated.

You can't please everyone. If you could walk over water you'll find at least one idiot that asks if you're too stupid to swim

Work smarter, not harder.

When a foreign student asks "How are you doing today?"

Don't reply with "Good, and you?" unless you're okay with >10 minute conversations

This also applies to wives--

People are animals and animals behave in strange and amusing ways. More of an observation than wisdom, so trying again I will say. Embrace change and accept disappointment as an opportunity to laugh at yourself for building up your own expectations.

"Stop worrying about your exams you're going to fail them and become an alcoholic anyway"

Be yourself. The people who are important will like you for who you are.

Don't overthink things. If you get stressed out and overthink things, that is usually when you will say something stupid and embarrass yourself.

Take chances, and put yourself out there. Staying in your comfort zone wont get you far.
