Topic: Searching/Excluding Multiple Tags

Posted under General

I'm wondering if there is a way to search or exclude multiple tags that are all present on a image.

For example, if I were to search:

lucario_(pokemon) -(female solo)

It would bring up all lucario images, except for ones that have both the "female" and "solo" tags on them.

Nope. That's a technical limitation with the search. Potential workarounds:

Do multiple searches: You could search for lucario -solo and then search for lucario solo -female separately

Use your blacklist: You could blacklist female solo on one line, so when you search for lucario (or anything else), the "solo female" posts will be hidden (they still count towards the number of results that can display on a page though).

Get creative: You could instead search for something like lucario ~male ~ambiguous_gender ~intersex ~duo ~group ~f/f. This returns results tagged with lucario + at least one of the tags prefixed by ~.
