I find the removal of the specific number of persons tag EXTREMELY annoying as it made it very easy for me to find specific pics I remembered. With everything changed to "female", "male" or "intersex" I can't find - pardon the language - shit anymore. :/

If, for example, you wanted a picture with one male and one female, you could in theory search male female duo. In practice, it's perhaps more practical to search male female -group, in case people forget to tag duo. Similarly, if you wanted a picture with two males, you could try male -female -intersex duo or male -female -intersex -solo -group.

There's also tags like male/male, male/female, etc., which make things simpler, but don't apply if the characters aren't interacting in some romantic or sexual way.

number_gender tags were removed around 2015. The combinatorics gets out of hand really quickly.
