How do I know if a post was deleted before?
I don't get a warning, if I upload a picture that was deleted before.
I tried it with a picture that was deleted before.
It's possible to let mods restore a picture with an appropriate reason.
So, the files of deleted posts are still on the servers, right?
Shouldn't it be possible to check for those too with the similar images search?

Yes, most deleted posts are still on the server. There are some exceptions, mainly for illegal content.
Deleted posts do show up in the similar image search. Here's an example.

Hmm, interesting. I have tried it with with an original file, on one that was deleted, for sure. I guess it was an exception then.
