Topic: Hideanon tag bugged, or am I understanding it wrong?

Posted under General

I recently found out about the "hideanon:true/false" tag and decided to try it out.
As I understand it, if you would search for "hideanon:true" together with anything, you would find posts that are only made visible to logged people on this site. However, no matter how I use that tag, the search results remain the same, as if it does nothing at all.

So the question is - is this bugged, or does it work in another way?

The main reason I guess for using this tag (If it is supposed to work as I assume) would be to find art i normally don't see (I rarely log in).

Thankful for answers!

It's not a search-metatag
All it's for is to set the parameter for whether a post requires a logged-in account to be made visible.

In that case it seems quite useless. Shame it doesn't work as I thought it did :(
