Hey, not sure what category to put this post under so I’ve just chosen general. I’ve noticed two separate tags for one artist who has changed usernames— batnaps (their current username) and beelzbat (the old one). I’m unsure if I am able to merge the tags myself (or how to, if I’m able) given the nature of artist tags, so I figured I’d post here in the hopes a mod (or someone with more extensive knowledge of the site’s tagging system) will see it. Apologies if this isn’t the way to go about pointing this out!

In order to merge two tags, you just have to Request an Alias, which is found at the top of the page when browsing forums or tags. You can request a BUR instead if you need to merge multiple tags, and type in a script for it:

alias foo -> foobar
alias bar -> foobar
imply foobar -> stuff
category foobar -> copyright

It's important to note that you don't want [[]] around tags when writing the script. It will auto-add those.
