Topic: Is there a way to find the page number of a specific post, depending upon the tags searched for?

Posted under General

Hello.

To give an example of what I mean, let's say I search for canid and felid, and I found a nice post like this: https://e621.net/posts/2901838?q=canid+felid. I know that this is on page four. However, let's say that this post was part of a series (and not part of a pool already), yet searching for the same tags yielding the first image did not yield other posts in that series. How would I go about sort of reverse searching the page number that the post came from, in order to see the surrouding post? If this isn’t possible, would there be a work around to approximately achieve the same outcome?

Thank you! ^_^

Try checking the artist's tag then. In that example, you gave post #2901838, so you could do something like adding 5 to that number, and get lynncore id:<2901843. This ensures that if the "previous page" came right after, you still find it, while searching for all previous images from the artist. That's id:<, identification less than.

Ahhhhhh, I didn't know that was even possible. That's a neat little trick. Unless there's a way to see the exact page number, this should suffice quite well! Thank you.
