I don't know if I should do this a s a feature post or not but is there a way to search through posts tag history for specific tags?
We all know the tag wars and that it's not avoidable. As a result there are works missed even though they would be appreciated. You already can see the history of tags. So having an option like history:sometag kinda option would be really nice.
I'm open though for any kind of possibility to do that. Maybe there already is a way to do it?

I didn't understand very well what you said, but from what I understood you want to search for the history of every post that have a certain tag? Well you can search for that at Post Versions click at "Show Search Options" and search the tags you want at the appropriate search field.

EDIT:
By the way what I meant was that tag wars lead to tags disappearing even though someone would still see it as such, but because it now is not tagged as such anymore, they also don't get to see it anymore.
