But at the time I was obviously underage in Middle School.

but even so I don't even know how I discovered this site. It's not actually a place you just happen to stumble upon...or maybe you do idk.
Just seems like one of those niche websites. Once I thought this was one of those sites just near the edge of the web and one foot away from the dark web or something.

I honestly have no idea how I ended up here. Apparently, I've been on this site for 9 years though... jeez. Presumably, I found this place from other furry porn sites, since I was aware of YiffStar (now called SoFurry) since 3 years prior.

(How'd I find YiffStar? Umm.. I'd rather not go into detail, but let's just leave it at I stumbled across the word "yiff" somewhere and looked up what it meant.)

Found it once by accident but closed it pretty quick, then found it again by accident a long time later. I think that's how it happened.

I honestly don't remember either, it has been a while now though. But it might have been through looking for the source of an image which was on this site.

(That's just the short version of it, I believe the full version started when I was in highschool and someone found "dark_natasha", then many years down the road I met her in person and did an impromptu art collab with her)
Though I had to put off looking furry shit up in highschool due to living with parents and not having a private comp/internet connection

Pretty sure the first time I heard about e621 was through a meme website. Of course, I've since seen references to it on various other sites too - FA, rule 34.xxx, HF,twitter, ect. It really was only a matter of time until I went on this site personally.

Well to me it happened when I was searching for some Spyro the Dragon fanart to use for a project of mine. Stumbled into post 47043, and the rest is pretty much history I guess. Back than, I was still underage, so I did not risk making an account on the site. Which is why my account was created on one very specific date, as I created it the same day I turned 18.

Can't remember. It was like 10 years ago... but I am almost sure nobody recommended it to me. Searching and searching Furry Art in the internet... eventually you get to it.

I probably came across this place after trying to find some good Sonic porn. It was a bit harder to find a decade ago, and this website served as a great database. Still does.

After finding a slideshow of Oversexed Eeveelutions on PornHub I wanted to read the rest of the comic so I looked it up on Google and fount this place.

I don't remember very well, I think everything started with me trying to find keywords that would find hentai I wanted to see:

I began with anime porn ---> anime hentai (upgrade, yay!) ---> hentai gay (not bad, but it was showing yaoi + irl stuff :( ) ---> hentai bara (the keyword bara made a BIG difference, it was the most major upgrade I'd say xD) ---> bara/hentai games (found a site called comdotgame, there were some really cool furry games there, searched for the artists and here I am. Some games also had links to the artist page on e621.)

Another variation would be that after finding the keyword bara and finding furry stuff showing at google images, I added furry which would make it only a matter of time before I stumble upon e621.

i heard about it in memes relating to furry porn, but i wasn't really that interested in it until i was 18 and realized i was a closet furry (thanks starfox). i remember looking for it a while ago but i could never get the numbers (621) correct so i never found it until i started joining furry discord servers and seeing links to it.

I stumbled across e621 years ago looking for art and porn, (duh) but didn't make an account to keep track of faves until sometime within the past couple of years. If I remember correctly, I think I actually found e621 originally through the old Herpy Gallery/Forum, before they were shut down awhile back. Yes, the gallery/archive is still up, I'm aware, but it's a shadow of what it once was, and e621 has everything that's on there and more. Plus that site's security at this point in time is questionable.

When I was 13 or 14 I learned about rule 34, and would google rule 34 for random things for fun. Eventually I realized that e621 had the best rule 34 pictures, so I started using this site instead (I didn’t make an account till I was 19 though, don’t hurt me mods)

Same way I found Transfur. I don't f*ckin' know lol

I think I discovered this site when an artist I followed ages ago said something along the lines of "don't repost my work to e621!" on either sofurry or furaffinity and then I found it from there.

If I'm remembering correctly, an artist I follow on FA posted an animation with a link to either a higher quality or full length version on here.
