Topic: Removal of conditional DNP?

The Tom Fischbach artist page says "All unofficial edits are DNP".

https://twokinds.keenspot.com/faq/ says
See also: https://twokinds.keenspot.com/license/

As you can see the artist explicitly allows edits so there is no reason for this conditional DNP.

Anyone on the conditional DNP list is there because they asked to be. If they have changed their mind, they would have to contact the admins to remove themselves. Besides, just because they are OK with people editing their work, doesn't mean that they want the edits appearing alongside their "official" art on a site like this. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Well, actually they didn't ask.

Well they don't need to ask. An admin (or head admin?) although uncommon(?) can use their own discretion to give a dnp or cdnp status to an artist even if they didn't ask, afaik. Did you read through the comments on that post? I thought it was pretty much settled that the admins won't go back with that decision and the reasons for that, am I mistaken? I'm confused as to what's the point of this forum. (@-- @

99% of cases, artist is on DNP list because they asked to be there.
There are however handful of artists that are on the list for various reasons (some I'm not sure if I can talk about, some I forget) by admins and usually it's situation where uploads from specific artist is causing a lot of trouble one way or another, so this way it's made to be againtst rules to post their material, which is then much easier to enforce, instead of playing whack-a-mole with uploads and having confused users why they have deletions on their accounts.

Because just as reminder, this is still a privately owned website. If artist comes here and says that something from them is allowed, we do not have to allow it. Same with stuff like tagging, we don't change tagging based on what artist says, but artists are free to leave if they do not agree with our tagging.
