Reason: Demons and vampires are traits that don't carry a proper species. You either are or you aren't.
Everything else? Hybrids. Half-orc is already requested in topic #21272.

Why can't we also alias half-dragon to dragon and etc.? We know from the tag that it's at least half dragon, so it shouldn't be a problem since it should be tagged as such, which would be more descriptive than simply just hybrid.

spectags:1 hybrid has hundreds of results, likely where a post has been tagged with a hybrid name that aliased to hybrid and we've lost the original intention of what the tagger was meaning to add.

The problem would be that hybrid wouldn't be tagged then. As you linked, you can look for images that are only tagged as hybrid, but you can't really find the images that should be tagged hybrid but have only the two separated species.

But what if the half-dragon intended by the tagger is half-human? Then it’ll just be a dragon humanoid and not a hybrid.

I believe these tags should be invalidated instead of aliased to hybrid as I share the same concerns as scaliespe.
