Topic: My realization towards cub

Posted under Off Topic

Hey all, I'm pretty new here but I thought I should share this story. I first heard about cub through the anti community on twitter, so naturally I felt negative towards it.
But then I saw some, and my opinions began to change. Everybody around me was saying it was super wrong and whoever liked it was a pedo. I hate pedos that act on it, but here I was having similar thoughts, and was scared I would slip into thinkimg it was okay. So my head was in this huge battle for months and my mental health was lower than ever. I thought I was a horrible person for liking it as much as I did.
Recently, though, I started reading forums on here, and saw all the support for it, and although it took a while, with me hating the people saying it was okay, saying that it was just fantasy, slowly I started to shift, and for the past couple of days, I've been way happier than I was before. I'm able to live out my (what do I even call it? a fetish? kink? idk) without feeling bad, and I just want to thank you all for supporting cub. Because of you, I'm a lot happier now. Thank you, all of you.

Oh thank fuck, I came fully expecting to have to make fun of somebody for another tirade because they refuse to use their blacklist.

Yeah man, if you wouldn't feel bad about feral art (bestiality), the absolute shitton of rape fetish art (self explanatory), or playing something like Assassin's Creed (murder) or Spec Ops: The Line (assorted Geneva Convention violations), there's really no need to feel bad about any other form of fiction or art.
Twitter is something of a hive that treats everyone and everyone that doesn't castrate themselves in the process of adhering to whatever the ever-changing moral outrage of the day is like they're going around curbstomping babies or something, it's ridiculous, and you should never take the opinions of that hellsite to heart.

Should your opinion of any art on here ever change, making it disappear is as simple as adding a single line to your blacklist and putting it out of sight, out of mind, then continuing on your way.

Howdy, welcome to e621. First of all Here's my message for new users -- You shouldn't leave "Creepy" or "Use-Your-Blacklist" type comments.

Just my own opinion, There are still some idiots in this world who criticize fantasy as equivalent to IRL when they know it's "fantasy".
However, I think, Furry-Arts i.e. fantasy, should be considered as separate from IRL, Since each fantasy world's common sense must be different from IRL, thus Thinking of each as replaceable is nonsense.
In the first place, So-called "critics" would exists of whatever, not just limited to porn/yiff, Critics of fantasy are people who cannot distinguish Between Fantasy and IRL, or who want to use fantasy as an excuse for what happened IRL, And I usually find them on fucking Twitter. ... They are Beasts, in human skin, that always looking for a target to attack... !
So, You don't have to worry about such BS; You can of course find your own idea ... unless it is to push others not to draw/see cub-art.

As a side note, I treat "Humans" and "Non-Human Characters" differently. My nature does not allow me to Love others ((even myself ... I know!! I have that kinda disorder)). But funnily enough, I Can do it towards Furry-characters. Perhaps that's why I have a different respect for fantasy characters and art than I do for humans, and my blacklist is blank/nothing.

honestly, you shouldn't listen to people on Twitter AND Tumblr, those people are walking zombies, literal NPCs in real life. They don't know what the hell they ever talk about and rife the waves from trend to trend. Sheep being led by wolves in sheep's clothing.

That being said. When you want the truth about something, it's best to go to the source of it, like a fandom or something where what the topic is about is being held.
So people who say cub is bad are usually SJW brainlits who don't know a thing. They're the same that'd say "Lolicon and shotacon makes you a pedo" when it's not true.

I was so prepared to read another person refusing to use their blacklist and start preaching about how Cub is bad again, but I guess that's not it here for once.

Is about admiration for the work and the artist or writer who creates it. It's all about enjoyment and nothing more really.

god i can't agree more with you. its all so stupid that people can't let other people just be themselves and do whatever they want as long as it isnt hurting anyone. i will never understand others

Twitter is the result of safe space college, Everyone is simultaneously overly open about their own weird shit and fanatically opposed to things they disagree with.

Ah yes, Twitter - the same cult community that praised the movie "Cuties" for being brave and stunning. Reeks like hypocrisy there.

To save a Google search: A movie about a pre-teen girl dance group in tight outfits twerking on stage. Sprinkled with a sexualized plot about "growing up". The goal was to critize the sexual exploitation of children in the media... which is the exact same thing they did

There is a reason it's called fantasy, and seperating it from reality is only impossible for people with mental dissorders or brain issues (no offense meant). Having a kink or fetish doesn't necessary causes a real life action - As Shooter games don't cause mass-shootings, driving games don't increase illegal races or LGBQT+ rights are accountable for a decrease in traditional relationships.

But there will be always people that want to punish others for "Thought Crimes" - especially Twitter is the meeting place for those who's life revolt about being offended or playing the White Knight for defending "morale values" to lift themselves up.

depends on if you define it as "attracted to pre-pubescent children" or "child molestor"

or however else you define it, i suppose

On Twitter? "Attracted to a shorter than usual adult" is a not uncommon sight.

Don't forget "attracted to adult woman with breasts that aren't causing her back pain".
