I'm a lurker that doesnt post anything, just favorites every now and then. But ive noticed that when I disable my blacklist in my favorites, there are posts I've never saved before? More importantly stuff I would never save

Ive changed my password multiple times, always fully log out, and dont have trouble logging back in. I dont think anything else is happening with my account, but id rather it be left alone.

Anyone have any ideas on whats going on or what I should do?

Normally, if something new appears in your favorites, it's usually because it's replacing an inferior version that you favorited previously.
If I were you I'd keep some kind of record of what you know you favorited (I auto-download everything I favorite through Hydrus), and then see if the behavior continues.

It seems a little odd that anybody would be using your account just to favorite content that you don't like, but I have no idea what else could be going in other than Lafcadio's suggestion of an inferior post being replaced. That doesn't make much sense either since you mentioned that the content is something you'd never save. An admin might be able to check logs or something for unusual account activity if you ask, not really sure since I've never had to ask myself.

If you've ever used any tools that use the e621 API you might want to change your API key (Account and then "Manage API Access") since this may be a way that somebody still has access to your account after a password change.

Every time this has come up, it's been a case of older content being replaced and pushed to the front of the favorites lists. People are really bad at remember exactly what content they favorite, just approximations.

Idk why youd hack a site with free accounts but beats me. Ill try that stuff and see if it works, thanks

I guess thats possible, but the posts would be replaced by completely different images. Like these posts are of things i would never save and i have blacklisted for a reason
Ill keep note of my saves tho in case ita something like that tho
