been posting some art of my character on here, and accidentally turned his name into a regular tag cameran_nicephore when i meant to make it a character tag, but forgot to add character: now its stuck as a regular tag, even though ive tried to change it to character:cameran_nicephore. the only way ive been able to get it to kind of work by using character:camerannicephore but id prepher the underscore version

You cannot delete tags. The character: trick only works for creating new tags and not existing ones.

If you want to change an existing tag's type, add the tag into a post first, click on the "?" icon to the left of the tag, click on "Edit Tag" on the top of the page, and then change the tag category to what you desire (i.e., from "General" to "Character") then click "Submit".
