I know for this site it might not be that easy since everyone has different interests, different search terms, etc, but I was wondering if there is a time that usually works better with posting?

I'm one of those types of artists who has a hard time waiting to post work at regular times, so knowing if it has any effect would at least be good to know.

If anyone has good statistics that would be good to see as well.

As long as it's something relevant to common interests, it'll be seen regardless of when you post it. Once an artist is well known, people will seek out their posts frequently.

True true.

Using third-party websites to check user traffic statistics, they all point towards (1) United States as the top country by a wide margin, followed by (2) Germany, (3) Canada, and (4) United Kingdom. ^{[1] [2]}
However, these are just estimates and actual results may be different.

As for my personal experiences in uploading, I do have some level of luck when I post during the time people would be awake in the US, but ultimately your post's artistic and tagging quality will determine whether or not it will become popular.

Bottom line, don't be too conscious about statistics (i.e., upvotes, favs) and when to post. Find out what your audience likes (can be outside of e621) and work towards making good artwork of that, eventually you will get exposure just from popularity alone.

Could someone clever make a chart of upload time vs. vote count for the latest 1000 posts?

I just post either when people are at that time when they need a wank in the US (preferably 6:00-7:00 Pm PST), or at noon when ppl are taking a break from work in PST. Works for me.
