I don't watch REAL LIFE Porn.
I only really look at 3d animations, SFM, animations, and videogames centered around NSFW material.
So usually I don't mute cause the VA tends to be good enough honestly.

But I swear to god...if I hear MUSIC PLAYING when I know there could be VA. I WILL MUTE IN A HEARTBEAT

There are also times when the uploader feels the need to talk in the beginning...I usually skip to the porn or at the least skip the intro or mute the intro.

Yeah I usually mute my porn. Especially when I watch it on my tablet or phone. If I watch porn on my PC, I usually keep the volume really low. Fake moaning and men grunting in my ear is something I'm not a fan of.
Kinda funny this thread popped up because I was just noticing I mute my porn and was curious if others did the same LOL!

Considering that even when I have youtube at full blast and E621 webms at 1%, some of them are still at least as loud as Youtube, yeah. I often wind up muting it. People need to learn to lower the damn volume of their webms.

Yes, almost always. Sex sounds gross me out, and 90% of the time the dialogue and voice acting is cringy af. If it's just music, that's usually fine

For RL stuff, music is almost always muted, with exceptions for intelligent sound levels (and music which actually fits) where I can clearly hear the actual video. Guys who don't know how to shut the fuck up are an auto mute. Other than those two, I don't. Even if the moaning is fake as hell, I'll tolerate it.

For fictional stuff, only when the sound effects or VAs are really bad. So almost never.

Whenever you have company, always check your volume and whether your headphones are plugged in.
If you are watching in private, then blast away (in both senses).

I mute the majority of videos. I don't like music, and I don't like talking. Some minor moaning sounds are ok though, like h0rs3's stuff.

Depends on the sounds - Hentai level dialogue for example gets muted. I don't need a description of what's happening (Every.Little.Thing.... in detail). The current popular choice of club or house music also gets muted, out of personal preference
