It might be strange that I create forum posts about these things and I don't want to be repetitive, but I noticed a behavior: A person goes to an artist's tag and downvotes everything the artist has. That happened to me several times and it's annoying. I mean it's totally fine to dislike an artstyle or the subject matter, but going with intention to every image that contains it... I can't imagine someone would actually do this. I have the feeling people sometimes seem to downvote artworks just for fun, maybe they aren't even looking what's on the drawing. Or they want to troll the artist for unknown reasons.

Today I noticed:

Somone downvoted my Perdita drawing post #3134812

then my drawing with Doom Slayer and Marauder post #3109157

and then my drawing with Ankha and Isabelle post #2970616 (I noticed it got downvoted multiple times)

Do I need to mention my Doom Slayer X Noelle Holiday drawing, which has now a score of -10?

I'm pretty sure the downvotes are from the same person, because I always come back to check. In some cases someone came and downvoted every single drawing I made (non of my drawings have anything gross or weird looking, so I first didn't understand why someone would do this). I think this behavior is some sort of trolling. I know it from YouTube.

I mostly see it happening to artists that aren't very well known. Do people express their dissatisfaction (not the downvotes itself, but the behavior I'm talking about) or do some people just do it for fun, out of boredom or to simply troll?

if you saw a mass of neg one across a bunch of the same tagged thing it could be targeted downvotes but if it's -10 it's probably that people just don't like it. If you feel like it's a justified suspicion you could probably DM an admin and ask them to check

How exactly do you know that "a person" is deliberately going through your posts to downvote them?
Did you notice all of your posts suddenly get downvoted by a bunch of people, or was it just one or two dislikes on specific arts of yours across a period of time?

The fact that you have tendency to make multiple threads asking the same thing on downvotes (topic #31035 & topic #31912) and on unpopularity (topic #32052 & topic #32284) makes me believe that you refuse to acknowledge how people would behave when they see your artwork.
Not everybody will like what you draw, and the more vocal ones will downvote your artworks. You need to acknowledge that.

A user can upvote AND downvote everything you had posted, and that is their privilege. You cannot prevent people from downvoting on your artworks.
A user cannot, however, create multiple accounts for the sake of manipulating the votes, such as the case of mass-downvoting on artworks.
In that case, you may contact an admin to help you investigate potential vote manipulation and/or trolling.

Well, it was not me... but if you like to know, to me the skull looks a bit strange. Like it has human proportions (the brain vault), that look a bit weird with other furry art.

Sorry, but I have seen loooooot better art castigated in this site, and people do not complain.

The concept of "mental fortitude" will do very good to you.

We are not having yet another discussion thread about people downvoting your stuff, sorry.
