Topic: Policy on comic-izing twitter posts

Posted under General

I found a Twitter account recently which I wanna upload some posts from. One of those posts is a four-part series of images, clearly intended to follow one another, like a comic. So, before I do something dumb, I want to ask if there is any policy for or against merging these four images into a single image (assuming the image quality is kept)?

I imagine the most common practice is to upload them as separate images in a pool, but I've also personally uploaded comics which I've formatted like I described, such as post #2662481, which have stayed up. (Although this may be an edge case, as the comic was part of a series of comics)

Thanks in advance!

Please avoid doing this. As an art archive, we would prefer that the art be uploaded in the format offered by the artist. There are countless ways to "comic-ize" a series of panels, and we try to avoid redundant duplicates whenever possible. Besides, it might interfere with reverse image search results.

Well, that all makes sense. I'll upload it as a pool. Thanks!
