Topic: How to remove a tag?

Posted under General

(Sorry didn't know what category to use)
I don't use e621 but I saw my art got uploaded a while ago but it has an incorrect tagging, I added the correct tags but can't remove the incorrect one. Is there some specific way to go about it I don't know?

In all likelihood, the tag you're trying to remove is being implied by another tag. If the tag you're looking to remove is intersex, please review howto:tag_genders to see how tags like "intersex" and "female" are used on e621.

Just to touch on something: being the artist doesn't change the rule on 'tag what you see'. Nothing against you or anything, but the site is base on that and less outside info.

Tags in the general (white) category are for physical sex; tags in the lore (green) category are for mental gender. This is admittedly imprecise (irl there's a lot of overlap), but all tags are an approximation somehow.

Yes, our use of the term intersex is nonstandard. Most of the characters tagged intersex on this site would not qualify as medically "intersex". For historical reasons, intersex just means any character with non-bimodal genitalia.

Thank you for adding the trans_(lore) tags; accurate tags are always appreciated.
