I made an animation today that I'd like to upload here sometime soon.
There was a forum post from 6 years ago that said that if you want to upload an animation, it has to be a webm file.
So I've exported it as a webm but now when I preview it, it no longer loops.
Will it automatically loop when I upload it here or do I need to export it to some other file type?

Yes, all webms on this site loop by default regardless of length.

We also allow GIFS: animation type:gif. Not sure if that's changed or if the forum you remember was just unclear.

The post I found was from quite some time ago, 6 years iirc. So most likely it just changed in the meantime. Thanks for letting me know!

Can be webm, gif, apng.
