I'm creating this ahead of time, so that Americans see it right away when the April fools joke reaches their time zones.

Please post what phrases you've got. Because I am a complete noob at reverse engineering webpages, and didn't find the place where all of them are stored. If you find the place with all the duration-message contents are stored - it'll be much appreciated.

So far I've caught 3:

The first one I didn't screenshot or record because I was still in shock

This theme is casual trash. It doesn't come anywhere near Geocities nightmare fuel levels.

That was fantastic. Unfortunately I didn't open the link cause I am in mobile currently. Might as well go for 10 min.

i absentmindedly opened e621 at 12:04 and got savagely pranked in the first four minutes of April Fools' *facepalm*

The duration-messages are stored in a javascript file. In Firefox, hit F12 and go to debugger tab, hit Ctrl+shift+F and type in one of the messages like "bad dragon" and it will find the phrase in the .js file. You can also right-click the name of the .js file that is in the tab above the js code and click "Print pretty source" to make it more readable.

I'm not much of a web developer myself, but I can't seem to find any more hidden messages beyond the time based ones. ;)

No kidding. This is orderly and tame compared to some of them. Where's the auto-playing embedded MIDI? The dozens of "Under Construction" signs? Pink text on yellow backgrounds? Flashing GIFs all over the place?

The site reloaded at 12 am for me and the background disappeared. Too bad, red's my favorite color, and it kind of grew on me, even though its nowhere near as good as the original.

You can just set your device time back to april first if you missed it. If you want to replay you can also do that, and open e6 in an incognito tab since it saves some info in localstorage and wont start again otherwise. It's cool to see that the reception has been positive for the most part, seems like I came up with something you all liked. post #2654821

Wait the red background was supposed to disappear? Was it supposed to reset back to the original blue background? I've had it on for 3 days and the red background is still active for me.

I know this’ll be an unpopular opinion, but I love the red and yellow theme so much better than the default, and it disappeared the second I closed my tab, thank you.
