Unlikely because of current trends and security reasons.

Actually curious about this. Ive been studying website making and so far ive been told many times that html5 games are very secure while a lot of forums will say that they arent

They would contain JavaScript to function, which could pull in external files or exploit an unknown vulnerability in Chrome or Firefox-based browsers. This is probably the same reason we'll never see SVG support, other than the main one of low adoption.

Im guessing flash was preferred because it was accessible like an image and didnt need javascript to run

Flash was it's own nightmare of security.
