not sure why the name Sy is linked to this Xainy person, but i see its linked to an avoid posting tag. same thing happened a while ago with my character Jace having his name linked to the artist and getting a avoid posting/do not post tag locked to it. guess ill just write his full name out from here on out to avoid this happening in the future.

Yes, names like "Sy" and "Jace" are fairly ambiguous and shouldn't be used for character names without a last name, title, or suffix (e.g. jace_(showtime1) or jace_lastnamehere to indicate it's referring to your character specifically and not some other character or person named "Jace").

There are occasions when an ambiguous tag gets aliased to a DNP artist because they went by that name and that's what people sometimes tag for them, so the site needs to balance identifying when a piece of art is from a DNP artist, vs signifying an ambiguous name/word that shouldn't be used as-is.

alright, so will the post get auto modded? or will i have to fill out a trouble ticket? seen a few posts that have that tag that were still up so i might just wait and see what happens.

The post won't get auto-modded, but an approver may not realize the avoid_posting tag got put there by mistake. You can report the post for bad tagging and explain avoid_posting got locked accidentally, to get an admin to take a proper look at it and clear the tag (or even restore the post if it got deleted by mistake because of it).
