I think human -anthro -feral would work to some degree but will also filter posts that contain other species, is it possible to block a post that only contains a specific tag?

One big problem with it is that not everyone tags it. If you stick with just that, you'll see the occasional image, but you can always throw the tag on when you do.
A long combination like human -anthro -feral -alien -monster -living_machine might work to prevent seeing them in the first place, though you may occasionally need to add even more.
