Topic: I Don't Understand Lt. Fox Vixen's Patriotism to USA

Posted under General

I don't understand why Lt. Fox Vixen is depicted to have such fervor patriotism towards the United States of America.
Isn't she from that movie called Squirrel and the Hedgehog which is a North Korean film and that she helps the Weasels and all that
So like isn't she North Korean

which the movie shows a strong dislike for America...I'm confused...I never saw the movie myself (I'd like to watch it though just to know)

So what's up with this enemy of US being depicted as loving the US?

Is this some kind of "FUCK YOU North Korea we're stealing your character" moment here?
Cause I'm starting to get that vibe. Did Artist (that are not in North Korea obviously) Just taking her and making her look like she loves America?
Anybody who watched the movie or if you have thoughts, let me know!

this is just one of many...actually, most of her art is kinda like that.

I've only seen a couple episodes, but I think she's supposed to be a double-agent, pretending to be working with the "Koreans" while secretly working for the "Americans".
And that's why she's depicted as a villain.

(also, quotes are used here because I don't think specific countries are mentioned in the show, only alluded to. Pretty sure it's all supposed to be allegorical.)

I think you're thinking too hard about it.

Horny furries generally don't put much thought into stuff like media literacy or political implications.

The "evil" countries are all portrayed as being inhabited by predators (The US is wolves and foxes like Lt. Vixen, the weasels are Japan, etc.) hellbent on wanting to destroy Flower Hill, the North Korea analogue that's inhabited by "innocent" prey animals like... well, squirrels and hedgehogs.

tl;dr: She's depicted as being a patriotic American because she is American.

So it kind of is a middle finger to North Korea that we wholeheartedly welcome a character that's supposed to be a middle finger to us.
