I'd probably want something feral (yes, I go there :V) like a big ol' wolf or, if it's fiction, a dragon maybe. Aside from my own preference it'd be the least harmful society-wise. Like if you'd pick a person they might not get caught, might become a serial rapist/muderer, and if it was someone you liked it'd probably make their lives a lot more stressful in the long run. Choosing something feral is restricting it more to the realm of survival of the fittest.
