I'm a data hoarder. I like to go through the Popular posts for every day, pick out the ones I like best, favorite them, upvote them, and save them locally in case of deletion. I keep an account of which day's popular posts I viewed last, which for me was July 30th. I logged in today to do my hoarding routine, and noticed I had favorited a post that I don't even remember seeing. The post in question is https://e621.net/posts/3487027.

Information says it was posted less than 24 hours ago. I have not been on e6 in the last 24 hours, or at all since August 1st. How could I have possibly liked this post? I assume if my account had been hacked I would've seen some other fishy activity on my account, but nothing seems out of place.

Is this a bug? Is it because the post is a replacement for a previous post? I'm so confused on how this happened.

If a post in your favorites gets deleted and replaced with a higher quality post, the higher quality post gets added to your favorites. So https://e621.net/posts/3079207 was probably in your favorites and was replaced with https://e621.net/posts/3487027

Thank you! I was looking all over the place trying to figure this out, and wasn't able to. Looks like I've seen it before, and just forgot about it, which happens when you're a data hoarder I guess lol. I already changed my password just in case, but thanks for giving me peace of mind.
