Topic: What's your (desk) set up?

I, for whatever reason feel fucking incapable of interior decorating when it comes to what electronics go on a desk permanently ("hmm should the drawing tablet stay on the desk or in drawer when unused?") and where. In a way that Isn't either impractical or ugly as sin and like it's the simplest thing to anyone else. Even when it's art and yeah, then room decor will be simplified, whenever I see anything like the below I'm always jealous of their ability to make an art/gaming setup not suck ass.

One thing I can say is I use a laptop, not pc, so that might add to these being harder to duplicate too with the lack of a constant "computer spot".

Idk, it may be dependent on type of desk you have. You may not simply have enough room to sort it out properly. I just stuff most of not daily-used things in drawers and all other to the sides. Always in the same place, simple and practical, as for me.
And I don't see anything special on pictures you provided. First one is messy, only great thing I see is "plan board" or whatever. But I "digitalise" most things like that. The only thing I have is notebook for important stuff. Second one is generic?
Anyway, like most of things, its just practice. One day you just figure out how exactly you want it be.

P.S. Bump

Updated

my computing desk has been a switch and keycaps mess after trying to clean a used keyboard and quitting out of frustration while not cleaning all the keyboard guts off of it, so it's kinda been abandon for a while now

i got a laptop and have been trying to go for a docked kinda setup inspired by technology connections so i've had my laptop on the bed for that time off the desk. now that i finally got around to rebuilding that board i've been working to clean up all the other stuff off of it to make it a bit more habitable

(and if you want details on what i want out of it: a wooting one with a g305 mouse both on a novelkeys deskmat, to the left is a headphone dac amp and eq all from schitt audio, and a 4k60hz monitor all connected to an macbook m1 via a nice dock. currently just missing the monitor and nice dock so i've just been making due with a usb hub and the m1's display)
