Topic: What biome/climate do your fursonas/OCs live in?

Posted under Off Topic

Random question that crossed my mind: If you have multiple fursonas or OCs, do you imagine them living in different parts of the world or different climates? I have a number of characters (none of them posted here in case anyone's wondering) where I often check the weather for equivalent towns or regions to see what the weather would be like for them that particular day.

I imagine a variety of climates. My main fursona lives in a boring old temperate northeast US deciduous forest. Not all of them are that mundane though. For example, one lives on a nudist farm cult in a boreal/subarctic forest climate, similar to High Level, Canada. The idea being their fur helps keep them warm in the long, windy, snowy winters, and the summers are just long and warm enough for a decent growing season and harvest. One I imagine in an East Asian mountainous subtropical forest climate similar to Hunan Province, China. One I imagine in a remote African tribe in tropical or subtropical grasslands reminiscent of southern Kenya or northern Tanzania. Then there's one I'm really torn on: I want them somewhere shitty, cold, and windy, like the Kerguelen Islands in the Southern Ocean or Nain, Canada, but I also want them close to some other characters so they have someone to interact with. I'm thinking of maybe giving them a mountaintop home in something reminiscent of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They'd have a REALLY long driveway gaining thousands of feet of elevation past the tree line to their home in alpine tundra. The weather sucks up there, but at least they can go down the mountain whenever they please to either a deciduous forest or mixed deciduous/conifer forest reminiscent of New England or continental Europe.

Tropic more or less. They all live in a clothing optional beach town. I now find that ironic cause I could not survive in such a climate for long periods cause I burn easily. I prefer a cool temperate climate. That being said I am not opposed to going to the beach.

Haha Welcome to Pennsylvania my friend. Nothing but farms and trees...and the Amish. I prefer the quiet country/small town life to that of a boisterous noisy city life.
