I'm not sure how many things are different between the regular favorites page and a search of favorites, but the order in which pictures were added is lost, which is what I care about.
Also, the same thing happens with my private sets, but it was like that when I started using them so I just thought that was how it worked.

Is this just how e621 works now or am I missing something?

/favorites shows your favorites in the order you added them. Searching from your favorites, or somebody else's, will display them in the order they were uploaded, or whatever order you specify in your search.

What does "/favorites" mean? When I click on the "Favorites" button on the top of the screen it brings me to a search of my favorites, with "fav:MandaTestMan" in the search bar
and "*Searching favorites does not preserve the order they were added in." Right below it.

The same thing happens if I go to my account page and access my favorites from there.

the /favorites page it looks similar to a standard post search but it's in fav order, if you search fav:<user> it'll order it by upload date.

So I looked again and it seems like they aren't in upload order at least. So I think I got confused somewhere. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for your replies!
