I wish to delete a post i made (https://e621.net/posts/3580151?q=user%3ADarly_buni) as i intend to remake and replace it. plus i saw it not being accepted with the other 2 posts uploaded on the same day, and have the feeling it will get deleted automatically after 30 days anyway.

Could somebody guide me on how to delete the 6 day old post while i work on the remake?

In the footer of every page is a Takedowns link ^^

You can just let it be for now.
Then, after you upload the remake, just flag this post as inferior.

Immean, yea
But im afraid that by the time i finish the remake, the original one will have been deleted, and the new one might have too much similarities to the old one and be falsely classed as reupload of a deleted post

You can make a note in the description or the first comment saying that it's an updated version. If the original version is still up, you can simply flag it as inferior to the new one (and I don't see any deleted or unapproved art of yours posted in the last 6 days), but even if it was deleted, you can say you tried to do a better job to make it more acceptable.
