I have seen more full-fur characters creeping into JP series, mostly background characters in isekai/fantasy.

It's still niche but I believe in the strength of JP perverts.

Manhua has some too maybe, but probably more like kemmeooeeneooeminimimi.

Even better is they're not even bipedal, but octopedal. Even more cringey would be if it was a human actor crossing off all the stereotypes to please the alien movie makers.

Hollywood's toxic culture of appealing to lowest common denominator, meh. I guess I'm taking this too seriously and bringing in IRL analogies.
