Like, when it's furry OCs or characters in media that's one thing. It's hot and it's a turn on.
It's aesthetically pleasing.

But when it comes to people drawing NSFW of Vtubers, I can still admire the art, but I don't actually feel anything towards it like regular NSFW of other furries or characters.
Like, I'm not weirded out by it and I honestly don't care. But what I would feel for furry art or anime NSFW is just not present in VTubers.

Sometimes I think of the REAL PERSON behind the character and I think "nah man, good art but nah"

Feels like Vtuber NSFW is kinda Mid-Tier.

Like if ou guys look at...Nyanners, Bao, uuuuh Buffpup, BungoTaiga. Do you guys feel anything towards the art? DOes it excite you or are you like me who think about it from some kind of backwards critic standpoint.
I just don't see the appeal of Vtuber NSFW. IT LOOKS GOOD but I just don't get the vibes.

I feel like I'm watching cringy MMD videos or something but it's a still image. Besides some of these VTubers commission porn of themself anyway. I need some outsider opinions

TL;DR: I feel like VTuber nsfw is Mid-Tier. Good art though.

i feel like your opinion on vtuber nsfw depends a lot on your opinions on vtubers in general, like if you don't particularly care about a certain vtuber then that apathy might carry over to any horny fanart you see of them or you can appreciate/get-off-on it separate from your enjoyment of that vtuber (i know i have the latter relationship with pokémon/sonic/mlp fan stuff)

me personally i got the hololive tag on my blacklist not just because i'm just not that interested in hololive in particular beyond the occasional funny clip i come across, the main reason is that:

while most vtubers, especially in hololive, are playing a character or at least an exaggerated version of themselves; they are still an extension of themselves

so to me at least, looking at nsfw art made by a third-party kinda comes across like those erotic fanfics of celebrities or the royal family and those are for sure kinda gross

if the vtuber in question is alright with it then of course this whole deal get's thrown right out the window, like with chester whose owner krisyim pretty much officially signed off on horny after following goonie, and i ain't even all that weirded out by nsfw of taiga_(bungotaiga) whose whole personality is pretty much just horny, and of course there's now law (to my knowlage or in my region at least) that dictates "any artistic rendering of a non-fictional person, without the written or verbal consent of said person, is illegal" so it's not wrong in the legal sense (and hell even if that law were real somewhere it sure as shit wouldn't cover vtubers) but still, it does feel weird seeing stuff like that to me at lease

I am not really in the v-tuber bubble. Sometimes I watch Acidic's livestreams, and I knew his art before I knew he is also a v-tuber. And I still like the pictures of his sona. I am not sure if that counts.

exactly, I had this thought scratching the back of my head. I don't see Vtubers like I see OCs or characters in videogames.
My mind wires them as if they are more on the celebrity or e-celeb scpectrum

So seeing NSFW of Vtubers is like me looking at Celebrity porn or watching REAL Porn and I'm like "no thanks, this doesn't get my demographic"
