Adding the ability to use Keyboard Arrows to quickly move through a pool or through posts page.
It's like, the most basic thing you can do in web-code and I'm still baffled this site does not have it implemented yet.
Yes there is plugins, but that isn't good UX practices.

And yes, I know this is very simple because I have created websites from scratch.

EDIT: It is implemented, just weird that it is disabled in settings by default.

The keyboard shortcuts are already there, they're just bound to the a and d keys instead of the arrows. Not really sure why, but that's just the way it is.

The full list of keyboard shortcuts is here

It must be broken or unimplemented then, because on Chrome Desktop it does not work. :/
Even through Incognito where no plugins are loaded.

On top of that this site could use many UX and UI updates (even though it is ran off a forum web engine with an old format).

They might not work if they're disabled in your account settings. Click on the settings tab here on the site, and then select the advanced settings tab from there. It should be the second option.

If that's enabled, I'm not sure why it isn't working for you.

Could possibly be disabled by default, I don't remember to be honest. Check your user settings in the "Advanced" tab.

If you really think you'd be able to make it better the website is open source

This really should be enabled by default on account creation then... kinda weird that I have to go enable it.
Works as intended when it's enabled though.

It's disabled by default because it's annoying as fuck when you're halfway through editing the tags or writing a comment and suddenly the entire page gets yanked out from under you because you pressed the wrong key at the wrong time.

I guess it's adapted for right-handed people as the unoccupied left hand can be used to switch pages.

Probably because the arrow keys are normally used to scroll around the page, and a scrollable page overriding them is generally a poor thing to do. WASD is an alternative method of movement for PC games, so A acts as move-left and D acts as move-right. Or maybe they're subliminally trying to make us think of Ass and Dick.

Yeah, why Pixiv?!

Making it those alternate keys when not in a text form is less evil.

Not trying to necropost, I found this while looking for the shortcuts themselves, but could it be that they're bound to keys primarily on the *left* side of the keyboard to keep your right hand free? For...using the mouse?

A and D are on the left side of the keyboard. If you meant right, and works just as well.
