Recently had my name added to the conditional DNP list,
Wanted to be the only peep uploading my art here just
in case I do anything special in the future, and it makes

But it looks like I'm getting harassment of the decision

Is being a conditional DNP a bad thing?

CDNP is a tool for you to use.
It's not inherently good or bad.

I think you should evaluate the situation and decide whether you need it or not.
Specifically, have you had people post stuff to e621 that you did not want them to post? If so, you need the CDNP.
Otherwise, it's just for show.

As for detractors, people will always find something to be upset over.
Don't worry too much about it.

Haven't had a problem personally yet but,
It could happen and knowing that I'm the

I wouldn't place any amount of weight on a comment which is barely comprehensible.

It's "bad" in the sense that it hampers the ability of this site to act as an art archive, since it limits who can upload or what can be uploaded (e.g. if you forget to upload something, or you become unable to upload stuff that you would want here, no one else can help). However, it is your art that you created, and if you have reasons to have those restrictions in place, it's no one else's place to say otherwise.

Though I gotta say, As the doodler, Having the ability to
choose, Even if only on this site, is fantastic, Dood!

Sure I would need to do everything myself but with that
job comes a level of self-vetting I wouldn't want to give up.

Being conditional DNP makes it so I wouldn't have to
scan my name now and again to make sure nothing
site-specific ends up here, Dood.
