Hey everyone! I'm just wondering if there's a way to make it so every video that's 1080p or higher will automatically set the "scale" option to 720p. My chromebook doesn't like 1080p WEBMs for some reason, they tend to become jerky and the audio desyncs. All that goes away once I turn it to 720p.

Anyway, this isn't even a QoL thing, it's more "I don't want to spend the extra 2 seconds clicking a dropdown menu." So...

I think you can do it with the re621 extension, there is a feature that automatically rescales posts with a tag to a set width. Not sure if that changes the resolution though.

Alternatively, re621 also has keyboard shortcuts to change the scale of a post, and a feature to remember the last scale selected if i'm not mistaken.

Account settings > Default image width > Sample (850px) seems to do the trick, but it's also going to show a sample for every post with an image as well.

I don't think there's going to be any better way unless a feature is added to make two separate settings.
