i know how to add a parent post to a pic but not a child link, otherwise i'd fix it myself.

Child links get generated automatically when you parent a post, so to change it you'd have to make post #593745 the parent of the post you do want to be its child post, and also remove the parent number from the wrong post.

Nope, that's normal. Clicking on the parent link goes directly to the image because there can only be one parented image. But clicking on the child link goes to a page which shows all of them, because an image can have several child posts. The site is designed to do that, so you'll be able to see all of them if there's more than one.

As for how to fix a child post link if it's ever needed: it's exactly the same as parenting a post, just remember to go to the child post to edit the parent link, if it's been parented to the wrong thing. Though, this time nothing needs to be fixed, it's still good to know how if you ever find one that does.
