Hey all!

I have recently made two posts using the anonymous_artist as the artist tag, but I have decided it to change it to a proper artist name now that I came up with one.. how do I change it on the posts I've made? Would I need to delete it and post it again, or simply edit it? I have only found some posts related to it from a few years ago.

You know that tags on posts can be edited, right?

Just editing the tags is fine. That's why the tags can be edited, so that any tag changes can be made/updated without needing to change the uploaded image. So definitely don't delete it or reupload it. That's not needed.

So just use the 'edit' option to change the tags, and that should be fine. And if you need help changing the new tag's tag category into being an artist tag, you can see some step by step image instructions about how to do that here: https://e621.net/help/tags#catchange

Oh, got ya. I was getting an error message when I tried to do that, but I realized I put a space where there shouldn't be one. Thanks!

Yea, I thought I was doing something wrong because I probably formatted it incorrectly.. but it's all good now ;)
