I just uploaded it:https://e621.net/posts/4001315#tag-list
The label editing is very simple and clumsy, and I don't know how to handle copyright role labels. If possible, could you please help me polish the labels and point out where there are problems uploading them

I made some tweaks to the tags and approved the post since I was already there. To change the category of a tag to artist or copyright, just click the ? beside the tag. On the resulting page, go to the top and click "Edit Tag". On the next page, you can change the category and Submit.

Nice picture, too. :)

One thing to be careful of is tagging humanoid for anthro. These are separate things for e6 tagging purposes, and shouldn't apply to the same character. Also, I'm not sure if you're the artist, but the source you gave for the post has an 620x877 PNG image, while that post is a 1080x1521 JPG. Where did you get the larger version? It looks like it was artificially upscaled, which is heavily discouraged (see the uploading guidelines ); you should upload the original as-is without rescaling or converting (don't convert PNG to JPG since that reduces quality, or JPG to PNG since that doesn't restore quality). PNG images are preferred over JPG since JPG adds artifacting and reduces color detail from the original image as the artist created it, while a properly made PNG is lossless (it's gives the same pixel-for-pixel exact image as before compressing).

The original format of that image is not supported on this website, so I don't have the ability to convert it, so I can only take screenshots

You need a Pixiv account to download images from Pixiv.

Oh, for crying out loud, I'm getting sloppy again. X( Thanks for the second pair of eyes and working brain, Watsit.

However, if a .jpg is large enough (and not through upscaling), at least somewhere around twice the size of the .png, it can be accepted over the .png since it actually holds more information despite the artifacting. A common reason is when the larger .jpg comes from Twitter while the .png comes from FA. But there does need to be a sufficient difference in size for a .jpg to be preferable over a .png. Unfortunately, Pixiv is the only available source, so that won't work here.

I can understand doing it that way, but please don't do that. As Kemonophonic points out, sign up for a Pixiv account (if you haven't already). When you find an image you'd like to upload to e621, right click on it and choose "Open Link in New Tab". You can then either download the picture in the new tab to your computer or, more efficiently for uploading to e621, copy the url and paste it on the e621 upload page in the appropriate place.

As for this picture, I replaced the .jpg with the .png straight from Pixiv. You do have a "penalty", but it's not any different than if I'd deleted the picture (which would be a shame).

Don't feel too embarrassed, though. Think of this as just part of the learning process for uploading to e621. :)
