Seems like anthro is getting mass-misstagged again.
Just to confirm- we're still only supposed to use it on pictures with anthro and feral characters?
If so, someone with mass tag edit scripts might want to take a look at it.

Is that a thing? It doesn't say anything about that on the wiki.

Well i always thought anything was supposed to be tagged with anthro since most animals do have a feral form.
the only things i don't tag anthro or feral are humanoid type creatures like goblins, elves... that sort of stuff.

No, we're not anymore.
I've suggested (and enforce a little) change in forum #72311.
Since then tags like anthrofied, or human_on_anthro were implicated to anthro, so if you want to go back to previous rules (which were very unintuitive) you need to remove these implications.

That hasn't been a thing for... two years, at least. If it's anthro, tag it as anthro.

I'm one of the people responsible for bulk-tagging them and I'd appreciate it if you didn't remove them.
They used to enforce that "only with ferals" rule back when the site was smaller (the assumption being that the vast majority of posts were anthro) but it's been realized since then that it is extremely impractical and generally pointless to enforce.
As of the last year or so, if it's an anthro you tag it as an anthro, regardless of what else is in the post.

Umm, all right then. Glad I asked before I changed too many things.

Just to confirm what the others are saying: if it's an anthro, then it gets tagged anthro. Inconsistent tagging rules just because something is common doesn't work when you're searching, because if the tag isn't on the image then it can't be searched by it or used to exclude/refine it. So we tag all the anthros now.
