I just noticed that a bunch of Kabier art got posted/undeleted, and apparently a bunch of Jasonafex art was undeleted as well, and also Jasonafex (whom I thought was permabanned) is now un-banned… can anyone explain what’s going on?

He only got banned for a week, not permanently. He simply requested to be taken off the list.

That's ass, but not as bad as the alternative I guess. That being Mods deciding they like him and granting special favors. Still annoying though.

The artist asked to be put on the list in the first place, so it's up to them whether they want to be removed from the list as well.

I thought he asked to be taken off the list long ago but the mods didn't grant it because they were sick of his drama?
Maybe that was just a rumor

well they recently added aome new admins to the team, right? and it's also been a while on top of that. maybe the staff feel like they can deal with whatever consequences might come of de-DNPing them.

Seems unlikely. Even if the potential resource cost is relatively less than what it was, what incentive do they have to welcome back someone who a) has a bad rep, and b) potentially requires so much more attention? Site traffic? They can't have that many followers, surely.

I’ll see if any admins post about it in the coming days; if not, I’ll DM the one who made all the changes (DNP list, ban reversal, etc.)
