So, I have some questions about you guys, the furry people in the internet, I'm curious how's your life as a furry works out? Do you guys have accounts and participate in different furry community sites like furryaffinity? Where do you guys hang out the most in terms of conventions, what is the most popular convention among the states you guys live in? Also do you use them other than social hangout event like an art galary, sell comics and even use the conventions as a place to hookup with other furries?

We come from all walks of life after all.

Though for me, the furry side of my life mainly stays here. I keep it well hidden irl and don't feel much like going to conversations
I have accounts on a couple other sites to make searching for art easier but that's about it.

I mean life is pretty normal really but it’d be cool to go to a con sometime. I’m in a lot of furry/furry adjacent spaces and i’ve met some great people, fwb ETC. i’ve become more of an attention whore than before i think?

My life as a furry and in general is fairly uneventful, I mostly lurk, and I don't really know about any conventions around here and I probably wouldn't go even if I did due to social anxiety.

Well for me is just watch art, read comics and lurk, i keep this stuff separated from my real life since it would bring more harm than good given my line of work.

I'm just in mostly for doing art and seeing what creative things and drama come out of this community over time.
Would be cool to go to a con but I'm not a big fan of social interaction.

I seek to keep most furry stuff apart from my irl self, for possibly obvious reasons.

I’ve just always loved animals, grew up with a lot of media with anthropomorphic characters in them and found myself becoming one in my adolescence. That said I don’t really participate too much in the community. It’s just one of my many interests and I’ve only recently started becoming more vocal online where as I used to only lurk.

I just started posting on the forums here a day or two ago, but otherwise haven't interacted with "the fandom" beyond interacting with people in contexts not inherently furry-related that happen to also be furries.

I draw a lot of inspiration for my writing from furry or furry-adjacent places but otherwise I mostly just use being a furry to annoy my friends (and never speak about it with anyone else). I don't know any other furries...

I don't have a "life as a furry" per se. I'm just me and like looking at pix of gals with fur and multiple breasts. It isn't a lifestyle, it's a mild kink.

My family is Christian. Obviously, they have no clue I look this stuff up, and it's been that way for a decade. I use sites like these as a means of substituting disgusting atomic waste dregs, like PornHub, Xvideos, RedTube, etc., because all of those sites have a shocking number of minors that are actually being taken advantage of (or raped), or don't really have the proper judgment to know the gravity of what they're doing, and people will just slap the 18 label on them in the videos, as if they were age of consent, which physically makes me sick. So I never go to those sites, sometimes even if it's the only video source link to some of the posts here.

Overall, even if I didn't enjoy the pornography here on e621, it's the art that wows me. So many fantasy themes and creative ideas. I'd only be into the creative and aesthetic aspects if I didn't also like the smut.

I'm not personally sure wether God is looking down at me in a negative light or not. Last I checked, the Bible says nothing about being sexually attracted to fictional anthropomorphic and/or sapient quadrupedal creatures. I mean, how could it?

Also, I don't think our Trinity is mad at me for shunning and boycotting PornHub and all the other human cancer sites either. There's legitimate proof that they exploit minors, and that anyone who's ever watched their videos on a daily basis has probably unknowingly beat their meat to minors.

i'm on furaffinity because a lot of e621 posts come directly from there, and you can find art on FA before it's posted on e621, and some stuff never makes it at all. idk why e621 doesn't just let artists directly upload their art here i don't like that Furaffinity will convert your art to jpeg, i use Newgrounds for anything DeviantArt is too prudish to allow. i don't like twitter or other social media platforms for art hosting. i'd open a patreon but i don't like monetizing my art, and i want all of my stuff available for everyone.

Artists can and do directly upload their art here. Many just don't for various reasons.

I wouldn't mind spending time irl with furries from around here, but I just feel like a bit of an outsider, especially cause I don't take the fandom as seriously as some people. ^^;;

Telegram is great for this! There's almost certainly a telegram group for furries in your city/town, and if not that, then there's definitely at least one for your province.

To be completely honest, I would rather shit in my hands and clap than have anyone I know IRL see just how dearly and how personally I love bees. So this fetish stays on e6, lol.

It's not a lifestyle for me. I basically just really like drawings of women with fluff(and without, fwiw.) I have accounts to find that art, but not really to socialize. I love the unique range of fantasies, stuff that would be impossible or abhorrent IRL. But I strongly keep kinky fantasies and reality separate: I would only share in this kind of thing with anonymous strangers like y'all, close friends with similar views on it, or a partner. A public convention, needless to say, is totally outside my boundaries on the matter. I also just really don't find most suits appealing due to the size and proportions.

I do have tangentially related spiritual beliefs, but that's another thing.

I've been thinking of getting a bit more involved than lurking and replying to the occasional post, but I'll poke and prod at that.
