Topic: tried to replace a picture

Posted under General

i couple weeks ago i posted a picture in a series i commissioned, (the vore series happy birthday, by muhny) that i later discovered had an error in it, (specificly there was an am written where pm belonged) after looking on the forums i was under the impression that the proper way to replace a picture was to post the new version and request a takedown of the old one, so i did so, but now i have a deleted image in the pool, and a new image missing the likes, and comments that were already on the first image. i assume i did something wrong, help please?

If you want to replace a post's contents while retaining its score and comments you need to collaborate with somebody who has access to post replacements (admins, janitors, contributors, etc.)
The post is already replaced, though, so no point in bothering now.

I'm not sure if you can have the takedown request reversed.

You can, just send a message to NotMeNotYou. There've been quite a few un-takedowns in the site's history, most recently with Kabier's art.
