Topic: Blocking One Specific Ad

Posted under General

Hello. Is it possible to block one specific ad from appearing on my account? The ad is for A Mother's Love. It has a character on it that I don't want to see porn of, that being Chili Heeler from Bluey. Thank you.

If you have the image URL, you can block it directly? Or do you use vanilla browsers with no blocking?
Apparently, it seems that most browsers only block ALL images, or ALL files from a domain, but not specific ones. Sigh...

Blocking a specific campaign on an ad service is possible as well. I'm not sure what methods work with the site's own features, that would be portable across devices on the same account.

Okay, I'll mess with my ad blocker and see if it works. Thanks!

Funnily enough (in Firefox), if I go to Inspector (CTRL-SHIFT-I) and monitor network traffic, I can right-click on that specific URL and oh look "block" which seems to work for specific URLs. Buried in the debug addon, I guess.

https://ads.dragonfru.it/www/images/3a839dcee8bb3498bf7769290b104e16.gif This is the direct link to the banner but this can change for the same campaign, AFAIK.
https://ads.dragonfru.it/www/delivery/lg.php?bannerid=1402&campaignid=913* <-- You only want to block 913. Any part of the URL after "campaignid=913" doesn't matter.

This way you can not block ads, but still block that specific one. It's better to block the campaign itself, directly, and not the image.
