Is it a mere conicidence there's no mention of the species here (not even a single image), or just that everybody confuses them with avali?

Dead link. It requires a client/account? Hmm, the second link shows the fluff dragons that sound like what you mean? They may be tagged with something else, if too similar, yeah.

Both links work for me without any sort of account on my phone

TL;DR It's not a coincidence, the lack is apparently directly related to a lack of artwork containing swaria

I don't think people are confusing swaria with avali. There doesn't seem much (quality) art of swaria is all, at least in English-speaking areas of the internet; I don't know how to search for swaria in Japanese, so Google Translates translation is all I have, and it leads mostly to one of your links. If I see anything of swaria, it is usually a VRchat screenshot.

When I searched for swaria on Furaffinity, 31 hits is all I got. I tried searching various other sites one might expect to find them on, with lots of zero result returns.

People most certainly do confuse the two, but then again, Twitter, so it probably doesn't count
