Sex-Positivity is great, mostly in the art... but sometimes it is "too sexual-centered" to me. I would appreciate a more balanced proportion between lewd art, and more stories (that include sex, why not) that delved more profoundly in themes like human nature, feelings and adventure.

Being too sexual, all the time, could be boring too. Specially for the ones like me, that have watched furry for many many years.

Now... I have to say somethig. I believe that we have to accept, that most art in this forum his highly sexualized. Sometimes, I really sometimes like sexualized things... but only, if they have other qualities. The official criteria of this site is "artistic quality" (that, by the way, in my opinion, is set at a very low entry level, even when I am not an artist myself). But then, you are free to choose what you want, what suits you. Something according with your values and personal world-view.

But we have to be tolerant... which besides, is encoded in the etiquete of this site. I as a simple user, try to abide to those rules.

In my "Black list", I have just tree entries: (1) Cub, (2) Male/Male, (3) Scat.

When I enter the site, whatever is not filtered from there, that does not suits me, I try not even to look... fortunately, the thumbnails appear very very small on my screen x).

But I never asked, or will ask, to be removed. Because I am no person to tell others if that is "good or bad" for them. And if I do, they will ignore me anyway.

And if they are "good or bad to them", I believe that there are many things ... that will by themselves "act" accordingly. Call them "karma", "human nature", "symmetry of Nature", "God", "fundamentals of Ethics"...

Believe me that we have no option but to let everyone to "eat his own soup". Which I guess will include everyone of us.

It's hard to describe, but in a way it just feels like I'm able to connect with people here. "Regular" people in the big world just don't have that same frequency if you can call it that. Don't get me wrong, I have great social skills, I'm just not really interested in normies.

For what I read of you, I infer that you have a deep personal connection for the Furry art and community. That you long that it will be imbued with a higher sense of self-respect and dignity, for the extraordinary thing that it is, and even more for the thing that it could be.

I somehow, feel the same.

It is fortunate that this community - considered in a larger sense - is a space where weirdos such as me, not really fitting anywhere else, could find hope and make a try in finding some understanding and commonality with other beings.

It seems to me some people really don't know how to feel about liking stuff that is sexual. I really don't think you should feel bad about enjoying some porn on its own merits. If you are consuming porn to the point where you are constantly looking at it while at work/school or to such a degree it is literally interfering with your life, then obviously that is a problem.

There's religious organizations out there which promote porn addiction as way more of a thing than it actually is. They just sort of pretend there's secular, empirical, consequentialist reasons to oppose viewing porn, but there really isn't. Their true motivation is just religious nonsense. (You can see this pattern with many problems they cause, e.g. conversion therapy).

That being said, you can use it in an unhealthy way - but you can use anything in an unhealthy way. Soda, energy drinks, fast food, whatever. People just zero in on porn due to religion or occasionally TERFery/SWERFery.

Really, as long as the people involved are consenting adults, there's zero issue. Or drawings, for that matter - no actual people are involved there.

There are definitely some religious groups who in some cases may be trying to address an actual problem, but are going about it the wrong way. I consider myself a religious person, and can recognize that a large organization that is controlled by man (who is flawed) may have imperfections in its doctrines and ways of handling the human condition. Personally I don't think god would want people self-flagellating over having desires that he has designed into us, so long as you don't hurt others.

You're very much right in that like most things, moderation is key. You don't want to overdo it. And if you know how to keep fantasy and reality separate, it's fine.

Not that I don't love the userbase to death, but members on staff are the ones I really connect with. Some a lot even. That said, the outcast usually end up as furries, and furries usually end up here. I was also a Derpi admin, but resigned there recently.

One thing I really like is how people can express themselves with art. Also with different kinks and stuff like that, also the art itself it’s just so beautiful, so much detail and time goes into just a single piece I really appreciate the effort that goes into it. Going back to the porn part, jeeez there is so so so much hot stuff on e6 it’s insane, just look up something ur interested in and bam! So much crazy hot stuff free for the lookin, it’s pretty impressive how many artist and people are on e6.

The creativity I guess. Some people come up with really nice character designs and personalities.
I think the fact that there's a lot of options to choose from with furry art( in terms of things like species, setting and such) helps.
